Asian food is so delicious yet its so hard for me to eat. Normally I get sick to my stomach after I stuff my face so obviously thats never good because then i'm just hungry again. Then there is this place..... One of the very very few places that I can eat that doesnt make me sick! YAY! Thank you to no MSG. The food is just delicious. I always order take out and thankfully I have never had an issue with anything being left out or taking too long. Delivery service is fast, friendly and the food is hot! Can never go wrong with their pork fried rice and my kids flip over the chicken lo mein.

Great lunch specials. I always get the General Tso's chicken and I have never been disappointed. It is a good size meal with a can of pop for $5 and some change. If you are hungry and in the IGH area I would totally recommend it.

Food is amazing! NYC style Chinese food (the best). They give you large portions of food. They have an open kitchen and you get the food piping hot.

I've had Chinese food all over the country, and it's usually bad, this place is the BEST. Every thing on the menu is phenomenal, best Chinese food in the country. I'd say the world but I've only been out of the country once and that was to the Cayman islands.

I will NEVER EVER eat here again. The food is alright I'll admit but the service is so terrible even though i used to order here every other week i will be stopping out right. I will instead go to Hong Kong which has a better selection and WAY better service. The straw that broke it for me was the night it took TWO hours to get my food. After an hour i called to see what was taking so long and the lady said it was on it's way so i wait. Another 40 mins go by and still nothing. So i call back again she tells me it's on its way....i live 5mins away! So i ask to speak with the manager. She refuses! Says they are too busy to put the manager on. Well if that's how you feel about customer service i will be boycotting super wok.

Ordered chicken fried rice with orange chicken and a few other things. The price was very reasonable and the food was delicious. We were a few miles away but the food arrived hot, fresh and faster then expected. Highly recommend this place for this area of the city!

This is the perfect spot to check out if you're looking for some basic Chinese flavor. There aren't any fancy flavors or sauces, but if you're looking for the basics, this will definitely hit the spot. Extra bonuses: Great prices Huge portions Friendly service Family-owned They missed out on five stars just because the prep time can be a little long, and you have to ask about how long the wait will be. They take orders by phone, so even if the place is empty, they making cooking in the back, so be sure to check if you're ordering at the counter for take out.

I was craving Chinese food and looked around at several near my current residence. I saw the high reviews and thought, lets give it a try. The food is delicious! I ordered the Seafood Delight (minus mushrooms, carrots and corn). Its a decent portion that can feed about three people as long as you order some rice and chow mein. The only thing I didn't like was that it had to end! It was a little on the higher price side also, but I've spent more dining out. The dumplings are a must! They are Delicious! I would have taken a picture but they were to good to stop eating. The Wonton soup is a bit on the salty side, but for the price, it was very good. Last but not least our favorite combo, orange chicken and chicken fried rice. It was very good, the chicken was hot and had a great flavor. The rice was cooked to perfection and was scrumptious. I will definitely be ordering take out from here in the future.

I live down the street from Super Wok and I frequent this restaurant. I nearly always get the same thing: General Tso's Chicken & Veggie Lo Mein. What I appreciate about Super Wok, besides delicious food, is the consistency. The portions are always large, the veggies are always fresh and the flavors are always sensational.

When I moved to Inver Grove Heights I was really excited to have so many Chinese Restaurants near me. We slowly worked our way through them and then we hit Super Wok and that was "the one". We have our staple Chinese restaurant. I always get the orange chicken combo plate - which is orange chicken with pork fried rice -an egg roll and a can of pop. I also often get there cream cheese wontons - yum. There food is good - it's fast - the service is great - and the portions are large. And as a bonus the plates they serve the take out in wash up great and make excellent salad containers for taking a salad to work the next few days.

After a management shift in my then-favorite Inver Grove Chinese shop (Sam Wong), I was delighted to finally find a local restaurant ready to live up to my high Chinese expectations. - The food is cooked fresh. Every time. - Though I'm not a die-hard fan, their broccoli is top notch! - Their food stands out. Every dish I've tried, I've loved. - Cheap cheap lunch specials, pop included. - Family owned! - The takeout containers rule. Go try, you'll love it!

Super Wok is my favorite place to get Chinese Take-out. They are really fast and friendly and the menu has a lot to choose from. I have tried a lot of different dishes from their chicken wings to the egg fu young and I love it all! I really recommend checking them out!

I've tried most of the places in Inver Grove Heights, this find is starting to win me over. Hunan Chicken is good, I like my food a bit spicy so I have them add a little more heat. They got it right. The take out service is friendly and accomodating. Omit the broccoli and cut my green peppers a bit smaller? They happily did it for me. No MSG and I like that I walk up to the take out counter and see them cooking away!

Super Wok reminds me of the old days of Chinese food, when things were hot, fresh and made on the spot. Super Wok delivers this consistently. We love Chinese food and and have finally found a spot where they meet our expectations, high quality meat, fresh veggies and made on the spot. I've only had two or three dishes but all of them were delicious. This place reminds me of what American Chinese food is supposed to taste like.

The food at this place was disgusting. The sauce was watered down and the meat for the dumplings taste like cardboard. Stay Away!!! Also the prices in their website is different from what they charged us. They weren't willing to credit us the difference.

When my family and I got into Minnesota, it was pretty late at night, so I decided to come to Super Wok for dinner after seeing on a brochure in my hotel that the restaurant was still open. The restaurant was small and clean, and the service was very nice, I think partially because the owners of the place were delighted to find out that I speak Mandarin and that my ancestors come from the same province from which they fairly recently moved. While the menu was pretty Americanized (for example, the only seafood option is shrimp), I loved that it had a health-friendly section. From that section, I ordered the chicken with vegetable stir fry. The sauce came on the side, which I didn't use at all. I also ordered the beef and vegetable stir fry. Each dish did not skimp on meat and came with a good-sized portion of rice. If you're looking for Chinese food in the area, I would definitely recommend this small, but friendly restaurant.

If you know what you are going in for, this place will not disappoint. This is not a trendy happening sushi bar or anything like that. What it is, is a phenomenal mom and pop chinese restaurant with great portions, a varied menu (including vegetables god forbid) and great prices. It was worth driving the 10 miles for.

I went to Super Wok last night, due in large part to the high Yelp rankings. Yes, the food was clearly made fresh -- the woks were rocking -- and even though we came late-ish (8:30 or so) there was a steady stream of people coming for take-out. We were the only ones dining in. The service was attentive and prompt, and our server suggested the specials, which came with fried rice, an egg roll, and a can of pop for $6.99. We also ordered a side order of cream cheese wontons. All the food was hot and fresh. However, it wasn't anything stupendous that knocked my socks off. The egg rolls were warm but average in flavor. Both my sesame chicken and my dining partner's orange chicken were overly breaded, and the sauces were not as flavorful as I would expect. The egg rolls were small and greasy. I'm glad I went and if I were in the neighborhood again -- especially for the lunch specials which are $4.99 -- also with an egg rolls and a soda -- I would go back. But I also don't think it's special enough to give it a full five stars. So four stars it is.

I have traveled the far east side of the Twin Cities and this is the best chinese take out in town. You can sit there if you want but we enjoy ours on the go. Fresh veggies and a Hunan sauce(dark) that is the right on. Spicy to order.Shrimp dishes are very flavorful. Order your meals combo style for the best bargin. Entree, fried rice, egg roll and a soda 8 to 10 $.

Super Wok is by far the best Chinese food in Inver Grove Heights. With a touch of a New York style open kitchen so you can see them preparing your food fresh over open flames, the large portions are complimented by the excellent flavor and quality of each meal. Our regular is the General Tso's Chicken with a side of fried rice and Teriyaki Chicken. The kids love both. We always call our order in so it is ready when we get there for both take-out and dine in.

New York style, delicious Chinese food. I've been to Hong Kong and China and this compares favorably, although of course it's the US version of Cantonese food. Far better than some other Chinese food I've had here in Minnesota. We ate in (did not take out) and the tea was not in a little teapot as we hoped, but the Singapore noodles and vegetable moo shu were great. They made vegetarian versions of both dishes for us; it wasn't on the menu but they accommodated us without a fuss and charged a reasonable price. I'll be there again!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
